Hi there!

In this post I will write about one of my favorite manga, "blue period", which is written and illustrated by Tsubasa Yamaguchi and currently continues to be published since June 2017.

The main plot of the manga is about yaguchi yatora, a popular high school student with good grades, but  even so he feels a great emptiness in his life and does not know what to do with his future. One day he passed by the art club and was impressed by the painting of one of the members of the club, what inspires him to paint his favorite landscape in art class, the blue dawn of the streets of Shibuya, at that moment he feels that through art he was able to express freely and sincerely for the first time. Based on these facts, even as a beginner and without knowing anything about art, Yaguchi made the decision to enter the Tokyo University of Fine Arts.

This is one of my favorite manga since it deals in a very sincere and painful way how we relate to what we are passionate about in life, how we talk about talent and genius devaluing and without seeing all the effort and work that is behind, but even when all that effort only leads us to stagnate and disappoint us, we could find ourselves.
